"I walked along an avenue of cypresses that led towards the town of Bolgheri. From there you could already see the fairy-tale castle built in red brick. The tower and the gateway to the village were also visible, along with a large coat of arms dedicated to the Gherardesca earls. I noticed farmers digging a piece of land that did not appear to be cultivated with vines. When I approached them, the eldest of the group explained that he was growing rhubarb. I knew well that rhubarb is a prized plant used in the making of precious fragrances distinguished by fresh and fruity notes. I returned, full of enthusiasm, to the avenue and resumed walking towards the small village. It was during that walk, almost inebriated by the sparkling and juicy scent of rhubarb, that I felt a strong desire to create a perfume dedicated to that plant. I imagined it enriched by the freshness and delicacy of citrus and essential oils, and I called it Rabarbaro Esperidato. "
