The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in cooperation with nine manufacturers and distributors, announced on August 31, 2011, a voluntary recall of all pourable gel fuels made or sold by these companies. Due to the serious risks of flash fire and burns when consumers add pourable gel to an already burning fire pot. The announcement says "When consumers add pourable gel to an already burning fire pot, there exists a danger of flash fire and burn injury or property damage. Incidents have occurred where the consumer does not see the flame or is not aware that the firepot is still ignited, but refuels anyway without ensuring the flame is out per manufacturer’s instructions." Fuel Gel Recalls were handled directly by the manufacturers. The Recall NEVER INCLUDED Fuel Gel Single Use Cans Alternative firepot fuels are available.

I feel I must record my thanks for the efficiency shown by your company. Being in Scotland we were reluctant to purchase from the USA because of the distance. But left with no alternative we did order. The efficiency and speed with which your dealt with our order was remarkable. It was also packed very well and arrived with no mishaps. Many thanks for your help.

I couldn't be more satisfied with Courtney's Candles. Over the past few years I've purchased several items from them without a single problem. On the one occasion when I had a question about a product and contacted them about it, I received an immediate and personal response. I recommend them highly.
