The Grand Encore by Rhythm Clocks features a very unique motion. While the clock plays one of the 18 melodies using Rhythms's CTS Sound System, the clock's numbers rotate in pairs as shown in the pictures. The pairs of numbers spin 180 degrees and then rotate back to their starting position. When the numbers rotate, they reveal figures of swans and dancers. The Grand Encore's CTS Sound System allows a louder volume adjustment than the SSS Sound System of the orignal Encore.

The frame of the Grand Encore is darker and more highly laquered than the frame of the original Encore. The wood grain is also finer and less visible in the Grand Encore. The figures and the pendulum of the Grand Encore have more color than those of the original Encore and different colors appear in the center of the Grand Encore while it plays.

Rhythm Clocks' Grand Encore plays a total of 18 melodies with Rhythm's CTS or Clarion Tone Sound System: six Classical melodies or six Popular songs or six Christmas favorites. Just flip the switch to change the music selections.

The ENCORE features different melodies and a different sound system than the GRAND ENCORE.
