Ridgeway's original brass mechanical grandfather clock movements are made in the Black Forest region of Germany. Only the very best quality is good enough for Ridgeway's heriloom quality.

    The Burlington Grandfather Clock by Ridgeway Clocks features a gracefully shaped solid bonnet with a raised burl accent on the front crown looks stunning in the Treasure Oak finish on select hardwoods and veneers. Reeded posts with turned capitols surround the clock’s dial and a detailed embossed molding runs along the bottom of the front locking door.

    The Burlington Grandfather Clock has a functioning pierced moon dial with raised Arabic numerals, decorative embossed center and corner designs compliment the matching banded weight shells and lyre pendulum with 10 5/8” (270mm) embossed center disk. A fancy burl image on the back panel is highlited by an internal light and completes the ensemble and can be viewed from the side glass panels and locking front beveled glass door.

    A triple chime cable driven movement plays Westminster, Whittington and St. Michael’s chimes and can be silenced through the night with an automatic night silence option.

    The triple chime, mechanical cable movement plays the chime of your choice progressively on the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full hour with a separate hour count (also referred to as the strike.)

    The Automatic night time chime silence feature turns the chime off after 10:00 PM and reactivates the chime at 7:15 AM. This is an optional feature that you control, so you can have your Ridgeway Grandfather Clock chime all night or be silent at night simply with the flip of a switch.
