What is a Diffuser? A diffuser permeates a room with fragrance by allowing fragranced oils to be absorbed through a wick into a pourous substance and from there into the room. It does not ever use any heat or flame. Whate materials are used in Aromatique Diffusers? Aromatique Diffusers are specially designed by Aromatique artisans using Aromatique's exclusive AromaStone process. The Cotton wick is inserted into the stoen as the AromaStone mixture is poured into the mold. A decorative glass bottle holds the Diffuser Oil and forms the base for the AromaStone Diffuser. How do I fill the bottle? Each Aromatique Diffuser comes with a funnel. Always use the funnel when filling the bottle with Aromatique Diffuser Oil. How much Diffuser Oil should be placed into the Diffuser Bottle? The Diffuser bottle should be filled 2/3 full with Aromatique Diffuser Oil. How long does it take for the Diffuser Oil to be absorbed into the AromaStone Diffuser? Allow the Diffuser Oil to absorb into the AromaStone Diffuser for several hours. How long will the fragrance last once it is absorbed into the AromaStone? The fragrance from an Aromatique Diffuser will last approximately three to four weeks. Can I purchase additional Diffuser Oil for my Aromatique Diffuser? Sure, additional 4 oz bottles of Diffuser Oil are available on this web site. Does the diffuser wick need to be lit in order to fragrance a room? NO!!!, a diffuser wick should never ever be lit. The AromaStone absorbs the fragrance from the bottle and slowly allows it to diffuse into the room. There is no heat or flame involved in any way, so Diffusers are very safe. If I do not want the Diffuser to continually fragrance a room, what can be done to stop the fragrance? Each Aromatique Diffuser comes with a separate metal cap. To stop the fragrance, simply remove the AromaStone Diffuser and place it in a zip lock plastic bag. Place the metal cap onto the decorative bottle. Will the Diffuser Oil change the coloring of the AromaStone Diffuser? Yes, the Diffuser Oil will casue the AromaStone to darken in color. Can I change to another fragrance and use the same Aromatique Diffuser and Wick/AromaStone? Yes. To change to another fragrance, first clean the wick with alcohol (NOT WATER) and let the AromaStone dry completely out. Empty the diffuser bottle. Then, using the funnel, fill the bottle with a new fragrance of the Diffuser Oil of your choice. CAUTIONS |
